What is Kundalini Yoga?

Kundalini yoga is a powerful practice that uses a blend of physical postures (asanas), breath work (pranayama), and meditation to awaken a dormant energy called Kundalini, said to reside at the base of the spine. Think of it as unlocking your inner potential for greater awareness and spiritual growth.

Kundalini Yoga is different to flow yoga,  it is  more like a mindful workout. At the end of each posture or exercise, you will be encouraged to stop, enjoy, and notice the effects. These practices aim to stimulate the body to release endorphins , promoting a sense of well-being and overall positivity.

Hi, I'm Gail, a 53-year-old yoga teacher based in the beautiful coastal town of Heacham, Norfolk. 

For years, I struggled with fatigue and chronic back pain.  It felt like my body was holding me back from truly living life to the fullest. Then, I discovered the power of yoga.   

Through a blend of Kundalini yoga, Yin yoga, and somatic exercise, I found a path to healing and self-discovery.  Not only did my pain heal, but I also gained a renewed sense of strength, flexibility, and vitality.   

Now, I'm passionate about sharing this transformative practice with others.  I believe that everyone can benefit from the deep healing, strength, and inner peace that yoga offers.
