Relax and release Kundalini Yoga

Kundalini yoga is known as the yoga of awareness. It is simply about YOU becoming aware of, and connecting to yourself. Your inner self, your physical body, your feelings, your emotions, and all that makes you, you.
Becoming aware of what triggers you, your reactions and responses to different people and situations, and how you can best manage yourself.
You learn to establish that reconnection to yourself. And in the process, you build and Strengthen your immune system, glandular system, nervous system, lymphatic system, respiratory system, increase circulation, open the chakras and feel a great sense of balance.
You learn how to breathe correctly and how to use that prana, the life force energy, to relieve stress, reduce anxiety, improve sleep and increase lung capacity. Then it's all rounded off with a blissful relaxation!!
You don’t have to be super fit or super flexible to practice this yoga, it’s for everyone, beginners and advanced yogis!
What's not to love about that!!

Sound Bath

Deep relaxation

Sound baths help to facilitate shifts in our brainwave state by using entrainment. Entrainment synchronizes our fluctuating brainwaves by providing a stable frequency to which the brainwave can attune. By using rhythm and frequency, we can entrain our brainwaves and it then becomes possible to down-shift our normal beta state (normal waking consciousness) to alpha (relaxed consciousness), and even reach theta (meditative state) and delta (sleep; where internal healing can occur).  I hold regular sound baths locally, check my Facebook page for details. Contact me to book a 1 to 1 Sound bath or a group sound bath in your home.

About Me

Thank you for visiting my page!  My name is Gail and I live in the beautiful seaside village of Heacham in Norfolk. I found Kundalini Yoga, or maybe it found me in my early forties.  I was struggling with chronic lower back pain, fatigue, and hormone imbalance (my PMS was off the scale)!  I was suffering from burnout – juggling work and a young family.   After many years of seeking help from my GP I came to the realization that there was no magic pill, I had to make changes to my lifestyle.
After trying a few types of yoga I found Kundalini and I was hooked from the first class.  There aren’t many KY classes in Norfolk so most of my practice was at home following videos.
Practicing Kundalini Yoga raises your awareness of yourself. I became very aware (conscious), of what I was eating and drinking and habits that had been hard to break in the past fell away naturally.  Fast forward 10 years and I have healed my chronic back pain and have more energy now than I did in my twenties!  I am navigating my way through menopause and I feel certain that my practice is carrying me through and keeping me balanced.

Hormone yoga therapy

Hormone yoga is a fusion of Kundalini and Hatha Yoga mixed together with yoga Nidra - guided meditation.  In hormone yoga we are harnessing the power the mind has to heal the body.

The practice focuses on the glandular systems, using movement and posture coupled with powerful breathing and focused attention to stimulate the major hormone releasing glands in the body.

Who is hormone yoga for?

Hormone yoga is suitable for almost everyone.  We are all affected by the balance of our hormones.  It is particularly effective for women suffering with hormone imbalance, this could be PMS, Peri menopause or Menopause.

I make sure to give my clients the utmost attention and dedication they deserve. Check out what’s being said about Relax and release Kundalini Yoga, and see why a yoga session can be life changing.

Having started online during lockdown and then progressed to the Wells Saturday morning sessions, evenings at Ringstead and now the Syderstone classes the format is great. Warm up, breathing practices main set, and relaxation. Every session is different and delivered very professionally in a calm supportive gentle coaxing manner. I would recommend this experience to everyone looking to improve their wellbeing.

I attended my first session with Gail on Saturday and it was amazing! I have previously been to Yoga classes but this was much different than I expected and a nice surprise. I didn’t know much about Kundalini Yoga beforehand but Gail was very explanatory and made me feel very comfortable.

I’ve really enjoyed the last 2 kundalini classes that Gail has run on Saturday mornings in June. The combination of breath work, asanas, relaxation and meditation left me feeling refreshed, full of energy but also very at ease within myself. A great way to become more aware of yourself and let any stress out!
